Kara

I graduated with a diploma of distinction from Bodymechanics Myotherapy and Massage School. I received an additional certificate for completing their advanced training program. Helping others feel the best they can is my passion. Massage allows me to help people find freedom from pain, while reducing stress through relaxation. In 2014 I traveled to India to attend a meditation and yoga retreat. At the center they taught us how essential it is to find inner peace. I also am an avid runner and hiker so I understand the importance of maintaining healthy muscles and joints. I love massage because it incorporates all of these aspects. It connects the body mind bridge. Massage guides people to reach a healthy life physically and beyond. I am committed and focused on helping people obtain these positive benefits.

Allyssa

I believe in skin care and the amazing transformations that can come from the treatments I do here at the V Spa and the regimens clients partake in at home. I am a Licensed Master Esthetician in the State of Washington. I do not imagine myself in any other field of work and I am devoted to continuing education and advanced training seminars. Keeping up on the new trends and latest ingredients is essential to maintaining great skin care results. I’m passionate about Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion and Waxing and the difference they can make. I look forward to seeing you!

Brenna

I believe massage is an integral part of a healthy lifestyle. I am a graduate of the Bellevue Massage School, after which I worked at a 5 star spa, having the opportunity to be mentored by some of the best therapists from around the world. I then went on to open my private practice on Lake Bellevue where I could really showcase my unique and effective body work style. I have always had a deep compassion for others and love to help people in a way that honors the mind and body connection. Although I specialize in deep tissue and sports massage, I have a passion for many modalities all of which I incorporate into my massage depending on clients needs for powerful and effective results. Lomi Lomi, Thai, cupping and Swedish are just a few.

Julie

Julie came to massage by way of her yoga teaching practice. Her style of massage is characterized by flowing movements and stretching, which is similar to, and heavily influenced by Vinyasa yoga. Julie has advanced training in lymphedema therapy. She has practiced therapy in many different settings, including home health, yoga studios, and spas. Her clients have included Olympic and professional athletes. She believes that body work can help prevent injury and illness, and increase overall well being.

Anahi

My focus as a massage therapist includes the physical aspects of helping one’s body with pain and aches, but more importantly incorporating energy work with every session. I’m a strong believer that we are beings of energy, and when energy imbalances occur, our bodies manifest pain. My work includes massage techniques with concepts of energy including light, sound, body, mind, spirit and emotions. Using this knowledge, I incorporate Reiki in every session to create a balance between the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of each individual and their needs, providing a pathway to activate the natural ability of the body to heal itself.

Anita

My introduction to massage therapy grew out of an innate joy of spreading my calm, positive energy. After years of listening to my own body’s needs throughout an auto accident recovery, tough backpacking adventures, sitting long hours at school and work, and the rigors of farm life, I believe movement and massage can positively transform how we feel inside and out. I graduated from Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy and Massage in Olympia, with fresh energy, ready to serve my community. I am dedicated to providing bodywork that suits each client, each visit, by listening to both what their words and body say. Specializing in deep tissue work, trigger point therapy and injury treatment, I provide a safe, intentional space held for healing and relaxation. Come visit me soon to escape aches, pains and stress!

Ashley

Hi, my name is Ashley and I am a licensed Massage Therapist as well as Esthetician. What brought me to both fields was a love to help others and give back in this world. When someone comes in for a deep tissue massage and has a specific area of discomfort, it is truly wonderful to be able to diminish their pain and have them leaving better. As an esthetician, it is fun and rewarding to be a source of knowledge about skin and waxing needs! I am educate on skin care along with performing a relaxing treatment that improves the overall look of skin. I will leave you with a quote that speaks best towards both fields. “Give your hands to serve and your hearts to love.”

Chante

I graduated from Everest College in 2011, and have enjoyed every minute of being a massage therapist. My passion for massage comes from wanting to help others feel better. I enjoy the creativity massage allows me to have because no two people are the same, and always find myself learning something new in this field. I am especially passionate about sports massage and injury treatment, and love to see the progress people make. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, painting, surfing, reading and cooking.

Christina

I have always had a huge passion for healing, and helping people in any way. I believe I can effectively relax people while at the same time making sure to pay special attention to any problem areas, tender spots, and areas of extra stress and tension that you may want addressed, leaving you with nothing but a fresh start and happy muscles after your massage. Making sure to cater to your individual needs is a MUST.

Deb

I received my massage license from The Evergreen State College in 1982, and joined the American Massage Therapy Association in 1984, where I helped in the Grass Roots movement of therapeutic massage and acceptance of medical insurances through massage-accredited schooling. I’ve worked at The Valley since 1983, and during my years of experience, have been trained in many types of treatments. I favor preventative sports injury work via deep tissue massage and always include some reflexology during my sessions. My hobbies include gardening, growing dahlias, and arranging bouquets with my husband Dennis. I love watching my two grandchildren grow up with lovely gardens of their own.

Gail

I graduated from Maui School of Therapeutic Massage in 1999. Most of my working life before becoming a massage therapist was spent on Maui at Wailea resorts and restaurants where customer service is of paramount importance. My clients have my entire attention. Each massage begins with a few minutes of conversation to ensure that the client’s needs are met. I love massage, it has the potential to transform lives, to move from pain or discomfort toward well-being. Massage is a creative career, there are always new approaches, whether it is helping someone heal from an injury or resolving chronic tension. In my spare time I paint and take photographs on long nature strolls.

Jenisa

Many of my aspirations were cultivated from personal health struggles and a determination to find “beauty for ashes.” Early on, unfiltered interests in art and nature drove my pursuits to floral design. After a few years of hard work and spa-filled holidays, I began to explore botanicals in other therapeutic applications by becoming an esthetician. I suffered from acne as a teen and young adult; so the fundamentals of skincare education came intrinsically. My ten years of experience encompasses both corporate and destination spas throughout Washington, Idaho and Montana.

Jenny

Hi, I'm Jennifer but you can call me Jenny. I graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy with a Master Bodyworker certificate. I have wanted to do massage since I was a kid and am now able to realize that dream! I specialize in craniosacral therapy, with experience in hydrotherapy, Swedish massage and reflexology. I enjoy working with my clients to find the perfect therapeutic blend of treatment to achieve goals, maintain wellness and find relaxation. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!

Sacha

I recently moved up to Washington State and feel very grateful to be here at the Valley. I received my Registered Polarity Practitioner certification from the Colorado School of Energy Studies in 1997, and in the following year my certification for Massage Therapy from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado. Next to Massage, one of my great passions is the study and practice of Cranial Sacral Therapy. One of my revered teachers John Chitty writes, “Craniosacral Therapy involves gentle hands-on work that honors the client’s own self healing process… and the therapist creates a supportive environment so that the client’s system generates therapeutic change from within.”
